Although the title of this recipe is called Chicken Parmesan, parmesan cheese doesn't show up anywhere in the ingredients list.

I have make chicken parm before but after watching The Next Food Network episode where Aaron made this I wanted to try his version. The white sauce just really makes the dish. The white sauce pulls it together and it is tasty. The sauce was not as thick as I thought it would be. But maybe I did not whisk it enough. Anyway it was still good.

This is an easy recipe to make. I was surprised that the cheese melted on top of the chicken. My only problem was that to let the chicken fully cook, the panko burned. Excellent taste!

This was a very easy, flavorful dish to prepare, but the recipe left out any parmesan cheese! I sprinkled some on top with the mozzerella and it was good, but next time I will use 1/2 as much bread crumbs and substitute the other 1/2 with the grated parmesan cheese. I put some marinara in a casserole dish, layered the chicken and cheese and put a little marinara on top and heated it in the oven to melt the cheese. My white sauce didn't turn out right, maybe cause I used fat free 1/2 & 1/2 instead of heavy cream, but the dish didn't need it.

I thought this was chicken Parmesan, but there's 0% Parmesan in this recipe. This is just a glorified fried chicken.

And I mean that in a good way. This is a terrifically complex dish that's easy to prepare and impressive as all get out. Invite your friends over and stand by for raves!

I loved it. It was a fresh new twist to an old classic without changing too much to the original elements.
