This was my first attempt at making a pot pie. All in all, a good recipe. I left out the mushrooms and added more chicken. It is a bit time consuming, but well worth the effort.

My boyfriend and I both thought that this recipe was delicious, it also made great leftovers. Very rich! However, I used all fresh vegetables and crust (except onions and it was very time consuming. It probably took at least two hours to make. A good once-in-awhile-when-you-have-time dish!

My whole family really loved the Pot Pie!!! The recipe calls for a little more nutmeg for my taste, but it definitely beats any frozen pot pie on the market!!!!!!

This recipe overall is great and there are no words for how great the crust is, however, the sauce was overpowered with nutmeg, perhaps becasue the Reggie work is at a bakery he opted for the sweetness to the sauce. However, I would have preferred more savory with just a hint of sweetness. I think 1/4 tsp would have been more than enough. I took it to worker and all my coworkers thought the same thing. But overall it is such a great recipe that I am going to remake it and then submit another review.

This far surpasses any other chicken pot pie recipe I've tried before. I hate shows that emphasize the pain and confusion of contestants trying to survive, but I guess it's worth it to get wonderful recipes like this. How about a cookbook from Reggie? I'd buy it!

Reggie, loved the chicken pot pie. I made my first pie crust with your recipe and it turned out great. Put out a cookbook.

I cheated with a store-bought crust & I cut the nutmeg in half. The sauce is creamy & full of flavor. It tastes like you have slaved all day on it. If it satisfied my Mom & Mom-in-law then it's a keeper!

I liked this recipe and enjoyed putting it together, the sauce is really good. My husband and I both took the first bite and looked at each other and said "too much nutmeg" I went back to make sure of the amount and I didn't do anything wrong. So I think I'll try the recipe again and leave out the nutmeg.

What a delightful dish! I wondered about the crust recipe and the amount of butter involved, however, the dough was so smooth and easy to work with. The sauce and the filling were also just excellent. The whipping cream in the sauce was luxurious addition to the filling. This was fun to make and my family loved it both for the first meal and leftovers. All it needs is a side salad, and you have a terrific Sunday night dinner.
