Wonderful!!! Although I would recommend one change. Guy says use BBQ sauce, but just as another review said it can over power the overall sauce flavor. Instead of BBQ try using a small can of tomato soup...it creates a pink sauce and really works well with the whipping cream...Thanks Guy! This is the most requested meal in our group of friends :

This is one of my husband's favorite. He asks me to make it once a week. I use chipotle in adobe sauce to make the chipolte sauce. I use less oil than the recipe calls for. If you like spicy, this one is worth trying at least once.

I just made this the other evening and while I like the concept a lot I think Guy needs to give a little additional direction. The main thing here is the BBQ sauce. The sauce used strongly dictates the flavor and so I would like for Guy to either recommend a particular sauce or provide the recipe he uses. I used a hot honey BBQ sauce and even though I only used 3/4 cup the sauce was still way too sweet. I definitely think this recipe needs more of a tangy type BBQ sauce. I also strongly recommend adding in some mushrooms as it really increases the depth of flavor. All in all I liked the recipe and will make it again with some modifications but as it is I can only give it 3 stars since some of the steps do need additional direction. If you like the sweet & hot combination you should also try Rachael Ray's Chipotle Cashew Chicken. That is 5 stars just as it is.

I made this for dinner one night and he had leftovers for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I make it quite spicy with mild italian sausage in addition to the shrimp and I use fettucine for the pasta. It's an all time winner in my house.

I didn't have everything this recipe called for so I had to modify, but it was really good. Sweet hot flavor.

This was really good. It was tangy, spicy, and it had a good heat to it. I liked this a lot as did my husband, but my kids didnt at all. Way to spicy for them!

I also added sundried tomatoes and mushrooms to the sauce, which definitely added more depth. I loved loved loved the sauce!
