Well, I also cheated and used a store bought pie crust. I hate rolling out pie dough. Then I kind of went off the reservation. I had monterey jack cheese so I substituted that and then added some chopped green onions and some chopped tomatoes. Came out great and my elderly father had a second helping!!

I like to try things as written the first time, and against my better judgement I did use the crust recipe in this and it was not good. Use either your own great crust recipe, or frozen. But the quiche itself was simple and totally delicious. Thanks.

Those are all symptoms of an oven temp that is set way too high!!! You should try it again, but put a thermometer in your over to make sure it stays at the proper temp!

I have made this quiche 6 times, and it was delicious every time. It fits into a quiche pan better than a pie pan. I use whipping cream instead of light cream. When I can get double-yoke eggs, they make it especially rich.

We used to have quiche a lot on holidays when I was a kid. After several years of not having it, my sister and I made this dish. It turned out perfectly. It was easy and very yummy!

Having never made "quice" before I was a little nerveous how it would turn out especially because this recipe called for a homemade crust. After I read the comments and someone had mentioned using a store bought frozen crust, that what I did. It was so much easier and so so yummy!! I also added more cheese and more bacon than the recipe called for as well, my family loved it! :

It was a very good, simple dish to make in the morning when I was in a rush then heat up later.
I love how versatile it is too.
I added spinach to mine and added more eggs for a richer taste.
    I give it three stars.

I used King crab, for one and bacon for the other ! Awsome ! Because I used the King Crab for one, I used less salt in the recipe because I cooked the crab in salt before I shelled it.
