I didn't have the types of cheeses that the recipes called for so i just used cheddar, it was delicious

This sounds so heavy I almost didn't try it, but I'm so glad I did. While it definitely makes a substantial meal it maintains the light, wonderful consistency of a quiche. Instead of cheddar I used swiss because I prefer that flavor in quiche and felt that the cheddar might be too salty with so much bacon.
Great recipe and a good quiche for those who probably think they don't like it.

I always increase the water for the crust to 4-6 tbs, and always add more cheese, but this is the best quiche ever - my husband hates quiche and he loves this one - I also use a whole package of center cut bacon...that is the key I think! Enjoy!

I agree with the earlier reviewer that unless you use SALTY bacon, the recipe needs a little kick because there is something missing. Next time I will add a little hot sauce, maybe a little garlic. Still, it was easy & I will make it again.

This was really good. I'm not normally a fan of quiche, but of course with all of the bacon and cheese, it was hard not to love this!

Ok....I cheated and used a store bought crust but nevertheless was simple and really good. Too bad Carissa didn't make it to the finals
