    Dressing for Apple Slaw

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This vinaigrette recipe is a superb choice to dress an apple slaw salad containing chopped green apple (Granny Smith is a... good choice), grated cabbage (packaged variety works well), dried cherries and coarsly chopped walnuts. Really tasty and easy to prepare. Makes a great Fall salad choice.Read more

    This Is a Keeper!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I am often searching for tasty vinaigrette recipes. This recipe has just the right combination, engaging the sensation of... sweet, tangy, salty and a little heat. The heat brought the flavors to the taste buds without overpowering the whole experience. In future, I will use this recipe not only for my immediate family but for our next family reunion and my next tea party, too. This is a large volume product, of which I always have need. It is scrumptious! And it is a keeper. I love Aaron's show and try to make sure I watch every Sunday. He is a talented chef with great potential and a very engaging personality, a true delight to watch. Read more

    Watch out: Institutional-Sized Recipe!

Rated: 3 stars out of 5
I clued in a little too late that this recipe would make enough dressing to fill four bottles. Ouch. Could FN please consider... posting a "home cook" version of this recipe? Or at least warn us in the header... Overall, my family found it too sweet, and I recommend cutting the sugar in half (at least). Note that the original recipe calls for almost as much sugar as it does vinegar! With that being said, it has huge potential. I'd cut the cinnamon down a tad as well, but make sure to include it. It provides some interest. This dressing screams "serve me in the fall" with the apple and cinnamon flavors. Aaron has tremendous potential, and I cannot wait to see more recipes from this budding Star.Read more

    Could drink this sauce!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This worked great as a marinade for chicken and was very easy to make. Planning next to use it on pork. Had a great... apple/cinnamon flavor with a (cayenne) pepper kick at the end. Perfect balance of flavor without the 'vinegar' flavor of a vinaigrette. Really, really great flavor.Read more

    Light and Refreshing

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
I first saw this on TNFNS and it looked so good I had to try it. I had a challenge modifying it down from the size that it... feeds but otherwise it was wonderful. The whole family loved it and I will add it to my staple of salad dressing recipes!Read more
