Talk about the best tasting, moistest bird I've ever had! the recipe sounded a bit odd but easy enough which is right up my alley. The bird perched atop the beer can was worthy of getting a few pictures. In less than 2 hours I had the meal of a king.. beer can chicken, homemade mashed potatoes and roasted corn. This chicken is definately going to meet my grill again!

I have made 6 of these in the last year and everyone has turned out great. Its easy and with the addition of a rack to make it easier to keep standing up, it makes a great presentation piece. At a large party that I cook at I made a "nest" of fried rice noodles for it to stand up in.

This is a great recipe! We make this all the time. We call it drunk chicken. You can even do this in the oven placing the can on a pan or you can by a drunk chicken cooker in which you can add any liquid you want. I try seasoning it differently everytime and it is alwas great.

I used beer soaked wood chips for smoke... It added a great flavor.... Add more chips when you add charcoal

This recipe is full of flavor, easy to prepare, and a great way to impress a crowd. The chicken was the most moist chicken I've ever tasted. This can be done in the oven if it rains but the flavor isn't nearly as rich. This is great if you want to ensure tender, moist chicken.

I am a novice at cooking and this was easy and I got rave reviews the very first time. My kids usually won't touch chicken and they loved this. Best part is the chicken is moist, even the breast.
