loved the star shape it's much easier to cut the ends off and the cut length wise than to find yams big enough to fit the star into the rounds and i used my left overs to make sweet potato mash not a fan of the orange juice but still super easy

Easy recipe. Hardest part is to find large yams and the muscle to get the metal cookie cutter through them! I use various sizes of the star cookie cutters. No need to peel the potatoes either. I feed the scraps to the wildlife in my backyard.
