Ingredients
- 6 sweet potatoes, boiled until fork tender and peeled
- 1/2 cup fine aged Kentucky bourbon whiskey
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon grated cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all of the ingredients with an electric mixer at a medium speed until smooth. Pour all of the ingredients into a well oiled baking dish. Bake, lightly covered with foil, for 45 minutes.

Good, but not over-the-top must-make-it-again great. I added extra cinnamon, and it could still use a little more. Also definitely has a bourbon taste, so if you are not a bourbon lover, use less.

This is a relatively easy and delicious recipe. We first made it 2 years ago for Thanksgiving and have gotten such rave reviews that we've made it every year since. The bourbon certainly gives it a welcome kick! Enjoy!
