I made this for dinner last nite and it was very easy to make i followed the recipe to the letter except i used cod because thats what the store had on hand they were out of Halibut and i thought it was perfect, with 1 tiny little excetion i thought the fish needed to be seasoned just a tad more but other than that it was excellent i will be making this again.

Another great Tyler recipe. Definitely cook for 30 minutes, 15 would not be long enough. I love how Tyler always includes good condiments. The homemade tartar sauce adds so much flavor, as does the avocado. I used a herbed foccacia roll instead of the sourdough bagette...easier to chew and more flavorful.

We watched Tyler's show weeks ago and have been talking about this sandwich ever since. It is so good it was worth the wait! The grocery store didn't have halibut so we used cod instead and it was delicious! Top notch sandwich!

I don't cook much seafood because my husband can't tolerate it, and my 8 year old only likes the salmon our friend cooks! But I saw this recipe yesterday morning and decided I would do it for myself. I didn't make the sandwich, only the fish. And, believe it or not, my Whole Foods Market didn't have any halibut -- so I decided on Chilean Sea Bass. I made it exactly as directed (other than the fish, and I had both husband and son foregoing the Shepherd's pie I had made them to eat MY fish! This is a keeper. And I WILL try it with Halibut because it has to be cheaper!

Made this sandwich today - it was fantastic! I did cook the fish for 30 minutes and it was perfect. I also used a loaf of sourdough bread, sliced thick instead of a baguette. It was great! The herb mayo is a nice homemade tarter sauce. We are saving the extra for our next fish dish. Thanks Tyler - we can always count on you.

Haven't made this yet, but it looked so delicious and therefore, the 5 star rating. I thought that Tyler said to bake the fish for about 15 minutes, but the recipe says 30 minutes. Thanks Tyler for all of your "ultimate" recipes. They are always GREAT!
