This recipe was SUPER easy and the cookies came out just as I expected...yummy, thin...crisp yet chewy. A nice switch from the normal chocolate chip cookie. It claims the yield was 36, but I got 4 1/2 dozen out of it...and I still have about 3 1/2 dozen of them frozen in my freezer. Super easy to just pull out a few and bake them for a random craving! Just a few notes: I decreased the baking time from 7 minutes + 7 minutes to 7 minutes + 4-5 minutes, because I burned the first few...but that depends on your oven, I guess! And I used chocolate chunks instead of chips to keep the cookies thinner (in the episode on TV, she used chocolate discs, but my local store didn't carry those. Highly Recommended!!! :

mmm it was so yummy but I'm not sure why it said to add all that butter! I forgot 2 whole sticks in the microwave trying to soften them and the cookies taste great without them.

Made these after watching Duff eat these on Sugar High. They have a good taste but using chocolate disks rather than chips (which are much smaller, there was only 1 disk per cookie. This recipe makes tons of dough (as mentioned. I did freeze the balls and popped them off the parchment to bake. In my oven, 15 - 20 minutes was too much as they were quite brown. I would check them at 13 minutes and let them cool on a rack. Plus they are very sweet with all that sugar. Not sure if I would make them again though.

After reading this recipe and seeing that you can freeze them in a bag, i tried it.....No way, they are horrible at this point. I MAY try and make it again and cook them right off but I'm thinking they will be the same....YUCK!!

One of the best cookie recipes we have ever made. Could not believe how much the cookie got. The kids can not wait to have them for their parties.

    Lexi-lise,
I'm sure that would work. I use semi-sweet chips and like I said they are phenomenal! If you like thin cookies, you will love this recipe!

Does anyone think that Ghirardelli bittersweet baking chips would work? Or maybe just getting a big chunk of chocolate and breaking it myself? I'm so excited to make these, they look incredible and it is so hard to find a good recipe for thin cookies. I haven't tried them yet but I'm sure they will be incredible.

These cookies are sheer perfection. I followed the directions exactly and had no issues. The first night I baked 4 and put the rest in the freezer, now I bake them off two at a time. Unfortunately, I'm also eating them two at a time.

Make these for your friends and they will think you are a genius in the kitchen.

Be sure to read the comments posted by the bakery.
