The recipe looks delicious, definitively going to try it, but I wonder, is this the recipe from Fonda Boricua or from Bobby Flay?
    I'd love to try both.

i was a little confused as to when to add the chicken. The last 3 paragraphs in the instructions contradict each other. Please advise. The recipe looked so delicious I really have to try it.
    Thanks for any assistance.

Next time though, I will cut the salt in half. Thanks for a great recipe.

I cut the recipe in half for 4 adults...1 91 year old and 3 others not big eaters. It was so flavorful....it seems like a lot of ingredients, but if you just prep stuff in advance and have it ready, it's not bad at all. Making the adobo seasoning from fresh ingredients instead of buying a prepared mix makes all the difference....very tasty!

I really enjoyed this recipe. It was easy to follow and the flavor was incredible. The seasoning blend was fantastic. I used chicken thighs and legs one night and because the recipe makes more than enough rice I cooked chicken breast tenderloins seasoned with the adobo seasoning for the second night and still had leftovers for lunch today. I only used the pimento stuffed olives since that was all I had. I think next time I will try smokey paprika in the seasoning blend. I plan to use the blend for other recipes as well.

Very simple, I would give it an eight. My wife and kids thought it was off the chain.

I cut the recipe in half- and used dried oregano since I didn't have fresh oregano. I had to bake the chicken in the oven while the rice cooked because I didn't realize I should have cooked the chicken to nearly done during the first step. All in all - this was wonderful, full of flavor, and I will make this over and over again. Thanks BOBBY!

I made this with my 5 year old. She watched the episode with me and wanted to try Arroz con Pollo. The rice was great and the chicken turned out very tender, but crispy on the outside. I made the entire recipe thinking I would a days worth of leftovers, but this recipe makes a lot (more than four servings!. Next time I will cut down on the salt; it seemed to over-power the rest of the rub ingredients.

The adobe seasoning was really nice and keeping the chicken separately cooking made for a juicier more flavorful chicken. Used mostly homemake chicken stock that I had in the freezer and this always makes the dish more special. Also used spanish sweet paprika. Rave reviews from husband and the recipe is enough to feed an army!
