Perfect and delicious! Made twice with ingredients on hand - standard light brown sugar - and the family devoured them. Tonight I used the light and dark muscovado sugars and I must say it made them even better. We have tossed out all the other recipes and will stick with this one from now on.

I am a big fan of Bbby just like everyone else, but this recipe, for me, was a waste of good food. Tried it once and have thrown not only the recipe away, but the formed cookie dough I had.

Awesome!! I love cooking them on 375...they did not spread as much. The kosher salt was nice as well. Will be my go to recipe.

I've been baking chocolate chip cookies of one kind or another for nearly 30 years. Combos of white sugar, brown sugar, shortning, butter, oil, and all different kinds of chocolate chips and chunks. I've been on a search for the perfect cookie for me - crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. This is it. Some recipes require chilling and waiting and don't yield a result equal to the effort expended. The taste of these is exceptional and the recipe is easy. I didn't see the throwdown episode that this came from, but it sure was worth Bobby's trouble if this is the result! Thanks, Bobby for sharing.

The Best chocolate cookies I ever had! Crispy on the outside and gooey in the middle. Instead of using a ice cream scooper I dropped the cookies with two spoons.
These cookies came out great all three times I made them.......

These are the best chocolate cookies I have ever had! Crispy outside and chewy inside - they are perfect. Easy recipe to follow. The only thing I did was use all light brown sugar but they still tasted deic. I will definitely make these again and again!

I've baked these twice now and they've come out great both times. I didn't have blocks of semi-sweet or milk chocolate so I used an 11 oz bag of larger chocolate chips and they came out perfect at 10 minutes exactly.
Also, it says in the recipe that you need 3 additional tablespoons of all purpose flour. For those who don't know, this is to coat the chocolate chips before adding them in so the dough sticks to them better. This step isn't included in the recipe so I think it's important that it be noted.
Otherwise, great cookie! I'll continue to make these for many more years.

I am not a huge baker and I found this recipe very easy... :D The cookies came out delicious and I am definately planning on making them again. I want to add 1Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract and substitute one of the 5oz Chocolate chips with Crushed Walnuts to add a crunch... :D This recipe has definately encouraged me to bake at home more!!!
