A recipe not well explained is a recipe for disaster.
To answer your or as Paula D would say "Ya'alls" quandary, add one half of the warmed liquids, plus the two (2 room temp sticks of butter, half of the grated cheese, and the hot macaroni together then after mixing well and melting the cheese add the beaten frothy eggs to the now cooled mixture. That way the eggs don't cook too fast and get nasty lumps.
Bake it after covering the top with cheese and make sure some of the Mac on the top is crunchy and toasty. I add lots of cracked black pepper and then Pile on the ketchup or catsup when eating it leftover and cold.
Now check with your cardiologist to see how long you have to live if you keep eating like this.

This was delicious. My 7 yr. old thought it was the best meal he had ever eaten. I split the recipe in 1/2 and it fit in the 9x13 dish perfectly, so if you make the whole recipe you will need two baking dishes. Also, there was a question about when to add the eggs. I added them after I had the butter, cream & velveeta mixed well. Overall I think this is a great dish and I will definitely be making it again.

Hello? Where is Bobby's recipe, the one that won? Personally, I have not made this, but it could not be any better than Patty Labelle's recipe for Mac and Cheese over the rainbow one...

Another version of Delilah's recipe is found on Recipezaar.com There it says 1/2 pound of butter (2 sticks. Perhaps Delilah was just nervous on camera.

In my opinion this is a GREAT recipe! I used 2 sticks of melted butter, and the Velvetta as well (for those that were curious. The only thing I did differently was to add a little milk to the cheese and pasta mixture. The half and half (for me just didn't seem to be enough. Other than that I followed it to the "T", and everyone LOVED it. They said it was even better than my normal mac & cheese, which is a recipe passed down from my grandmother. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Delilah did say 1/2 stick of butter on the actual show, but did you see the amount that she poured in? It was at least 2 sticks.

I have not made this recipe either because when I was watching the show, Delilah said to use one pound of velveeta cheese. I think the recipe needs to be revised.
