I half this rescipe and used 4 eggs. This was the best mac and cheese. If you have a smoker place it in the smoker for the last 20 minutes to get that smoke flavor, oh so good.

I have made this several times now and its a hit every time. I grate and measure all the cheeses up ahead of time so its goes together much faster.

THE best Mac and Cheese you will ever make. Although buying all the ingredients is expensive you can purchase most of the cheese at Costco and use several times by freezing the cheese. We make this EVERY Thanksgiving, its a MUST! :

I made this for a party and everybody was talking about how good it was all night. To add some flavor I used smoked cheddar and smoked mozzarella. I absolutely loved this. I don't think I will ever be able to eat mac and cheese from a box now.

This is the first time I am making this for a small family party, but I do have a question - cook uncovered or covered. Can anyone help me on this one. This is a family mac n cheese throwdown and my husband and I want to WIN!!! Sure tasted good while preparing and we added a little cayenne for some kick. I'll give it a four right now based on taste, but I'll come back after today's party with more.....

I Love mac n cheese and was sooo excited when i seen this on The Throwdown. I was even planning a mini trip to philly to try it but then i realized the recipe was online and so i made it. I wanted to love it so much but instead it was only ok. I agree with some other peoples comments sayings it was way to many eggs. If i took a bite of the middle or top it was really good, however, if I got a bottom or edge piece it tasted like cheese eggs and I do not like breakfast eggs. I am going to try and make it again but with less eggs and see how that works.

I used 1 pound of velveeta like she said on tv...not one cup as recipe states. I also used a deep casserole pan and a little more black pepper I now know what heaven tastes like... It was pure comfort!

Everyone loved it over the holidays but some how i didn't care for the texture. it wasn't creamy at all like i was hoping it would be. it was more solid mac and cheese because of the eggs. thank god i only did half the recipe. half the recipe itself took up a whole entire 9X13. Maybe if i make it next time i will only use 2 or 3 eggs instead of 6. My husband agreed with me on the texture. He and i don't think mac and cheese is mac and cheese if it is not creamy.
