I think this is a good starter. It just needs more zip.

The only thing I changed was I used 1 pound beef and 1 pound pork italian sausage . My family loved it! Everybody had seconds.

I like to make sandwiches with leftover meatloaf. I tried many times with meat-loaves I've made, but they don't have the right taste, or they don't "taste good"
at all. do use catsup in the meatload and on top.

I very much enjoy this recipe and love the added ketchup spread! Very simple and flavorful, good comfort food.

I follow the recipe exactly except I do add a healthy dash of hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce. I also make a pan gravy with shallots and beef consomme along with a side garlic mashed potatoes.

Don't know how many times we had this at their diner -- love it! Making this meatloaf for our son and daughter-in-law tonight for a blast from the past.

They have moved to a bigger and better place. Still the same great food. It is located on rt. 28 and the new name is 4 bros. bistro.

No matter what I do to meatloaf my family always loves it. They saw this episode and wanted me to try it. There is no flavor to this meatloaf. After one taste, no one wanted to eat it. It was a big disappointment. Maybe it needs the gravy to hide the blandness of the meat. Bobby's version is 100% better. Anyone who likes this recipe never had a good meatloaf.

I've made this meatloaf several times and was even asked for the recipe. When making it I've tweaked it slightly by using ground turkey or meatball mix. I always add garlic. I am more a fan of tomato sauce than ketchup, so that's what I slather on top. I also chop the carrots, celery and onion fine so that the taste is there but not much of the texture. Great recipe!
