I made these after watching the show. No wonder Bobby won the throwdown. I doubled the chocolate, but these still lacked flavor. I should have known better when I read the recipe & saw that it called for nearly 1 pound of sugar! Even the frosting is lackluster. The one thing going for them is the moisture.

After seeing Throw Down with this recipe the other night I couldn't wait to try it! It lived up to the hype and then some! The cupcake was so moist (I took previous reviewers advise and doubled the chocolate. Frosting was really creamy! Perfect.

I doubled the cocoa, just because in the past, most red velvet recipes I have made, lack any cocoa flavor, and they turned out very good, very moist. I was kinda leary because it did not call for any butter, I thought that was kind of strange, but they turned out well. Very, very moist!!
