Very nice. Would be a good first course for an autumn dinner party. I added a tiny bit of brown sugar to the butter just as it was finishing which added a slight sweetness.

By the way, just signed up for food network to make this review. Their efforts to collect personal information during signup are insulting and aggrevating and totally uncalled for.

I tried this dish this evening and I have to say it was tasty and refreshing. I like the apples in it, although I think a large Granny Smith is too much apple (I should have left half of it out, as well as serving the tartar on an apple slice. Next time I make it I'll add more herbs and I think then I'll add lemon thyme in it too. My husband really enjoyed it as well. Totally worth making and looks fabulously when serving it. Thanks Tom and good luck....I really hope you win.

This dish was even better than expected! Super easy to make, had a great mix of flavors. It's even fantastic without the brown butter topping...

Great job Tom....cheering for 'ya next week!
