I was skeptical once I saw the amount of liquid in the pan but the end result!!!!! Words cannot describe how simple and easy this was but for the taste I would be willing to put in effort. The end result is like the best part of an apple pie without the entire pie. We had these with vanilla ice cream and it was so delicious. The biscuits turn into a soft flaky crust. I made them as a sweet ending to a brunch and once the smell hit the kitchen everyone ate them first.

This truly was the best of the best!! So simple to make and could not believe the flavor. It will be very hard to ever make an apple pie again. The house smelled wonerful. The only tip I have is don't skimp on the bisquits. I did try with an off brand and it made a huge difference on wrapping them. Don't know why but it did. Pillsburry grands worked great. Just add whip cream!!

This is very good and super easy. You HAVE to serve it a little warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to make it even more fantastic.

I made these for my family and some college kids and it was a hit! And the house smelled divine while it was baking. I was a little worried when I added all that liquid, but it reduced down to just a nice bit of thick syrup. I would use only 2-1/2 teaspooons of cinnamon next time and will cut down on the sugar a tad. Other than that, this is a winner of a recipe. And it's really quick and easy to assemble because I didn't bother with soaking the apples in lemon water!

This recipe was so quick, easy and delicious! It comes together fast so I didn't bother with soaking apples in lemon water. The dumplings were a huge hit at a gathering I took it to and I think I will be making it again and again. Thanks to Trisha...I think this was the first episode I watched, too!

Really good and very easy to make. A little syrupy...fixed by removing dumplings from syrup and passing it around in a serving bowl and it was delicious over the ice cream!!
