OMG get ready for the best dessert!. I have made this twice and my daughter helped me the second time and it only gets better. It was fast and easy! I love that Trisha's recipe are easy for the working Mom who does not have hours to spend in the kitchen. Make it for the entire family!

My 8 year old grandson made this (I watched him and loved it and spent quality time with him in the kitchen making something easy and good. He was so proud of his self for making the apples dumpling by his self. Gave him bragging rights. lol
Thanks Trisha this is a keeper for sure. Love your show and love your easy recipes.

Let me tell you! I watched the show and could not wait until I tried it myself. I made them with Sunday dinner and there was none left. They were a hit and was asked to make them the followingsunday which I did; and of course the same thing happened like he first time I made them......there was not one single dumpling left! Thank You Tracey!

These are DELICIOUS!! I just made them tonight. I've been wanting to try them since I saw her make them on her show a couple of weeks ago. I only used 2 teaspoons of cinnamon instead of 4. I think 4 would have been too much. I baked them for 30 minutes instead of 35. They turned out perfect! My daughter and her friend loved them too. I can't wait to make them again. Thanks Trisha!

Oh My Holy Heck!!! These things are AWESOME!!!! A great dish for kids to help with, first thing being they are not messy to make!! Best part they are good, super good, extra super good!!! Did I say how good they are????

So easy and so good. I have dietary fructose intolerance so I could not make this with apples. Instead I substituted peaches and it was soooooo good.

This is wonderful, my husband at 3, and my children even liked them. I accidently put maple flavoring instead of vanilla and they still ate all of them. Served them with vanilla ice cream. This would be a great dish to take to family gatherings also. Very simple to make

Made these last night while we were enjoying our dinner, these were in the oven baking, so easy and simple, Served with vanilla icecream on top, my family loved them... Such a simple desert to make...

YUMMYLICIOUS!!! That's the word that 1st comes to mind. And when you factor in the ease of the recipes & the inexpensiveness of it, that makes it all the better. The only think I could even think of changing is not using all 4 tsps of cinnamon. I love cinnamon, but 4 tsps added to only 1/4 c of sugar is alot and makes the Dumplings turn really dark. When I opened my oven door to check on them, it looked as though I had almost burnt them. Only cooked them for about 32 mins & that was perfect. Way to go Trisha!!! LOVE your show & this recipe! You can bet that I will be making this over & over again.
