These asparagus bundles are so easy and the best I have ever tasted. I made them for Easter and my mother in law loved them. I also made Trish's almond cake which topped off my dinner. These recipes were so easy and with no mess to clean up.

The asparagus bundles were excellent. I tried par-cooking the bacon as some suggested to cut down on the grease. Next time I make this I will have to cook the bacon a little less since they weren't easy to wrap around the asparagus once the bacon firmed up. I also over-cooked the butter/brown sugar mixture--mine was thick and syrupy. Even so, the flavors were wonderful. I will be making this again modifying the butter, brown sugar and bacon to make it a little less fattening. But you can't beat this one. It's a keeper!

Prepared this with prosciutto instead of bacon and used about half of the sauce. Crispy, not too sweet, yummy

Excellent!!! I made these for Easter, and they were a hit. Even the kids loved them. Next time I'll have to make a double batch, there was a battle over who got the last one, and there were none for left overs.

Very good flavor, but too fatty and limp. I like my asparagus crisp-tenderl. To get the asparagus crip-tender the bacon was way under cooked. I even baked them on a rack to let the bacon grease drip away.

I loved this recipe and served it for Easter Brunch; however, the mistake was mine...I should have used asparagus that was larger in size as the smaller ones I used tended to shrink up a bit.
