I made these for a church get together. They were delicious and well-received. I followed the instructions exactly as it was my first time with the recipe. I had no problem with sticking.

My MIL made these every year during the holidays and my husband always loved them. My MIL was not one to share her recipes and when she passed so did many of the family favorites. Some recipes I was able to find but some I'm afraid are gone forever. I was so excited to try this hoping it would be one of our favs. Well, they are ! They were easy to make and I look forward to continue making them in the future.

Trisha, thank you for sharing this delectable dessert, I never knew something so small could have this burst of favor and so easy to make. They remind me of those small pecan pies that my mama use to buy and have with her coffee when I was young and we would travel to Texas! Great Memory! Keep up the great work and I hope I can hear that you are back to singing. <3

These are absolutely wonderful. A mini Pecan pie. I made 3 batches for Christmas trays and they were a BIG hit! I made the dough the day before so it was very cold. It took a little longer to warm up in order to roll balls but it worked. I used mini non stick tins and did not spray (don't like that stuff and had no problem with them coming out of the tray. This is going to be added to my list of MUST HAVE Cookies for Christmas.

My family went crazy over these. I made two batches in the last week. I made mine a gluten free version by using gluten free flower. I was afraid it would not be very good because lets face it many of the g-free items are just not the same. These were great! It worked well because my mother in-law is allergic to chocolate and my husband is gluten sensitive. I was in charge of desert on Christmas. This fit the bill perfectly.

I have made these 3 times now and they are definitely a hit or miss cookie. The people that love them devour them and say they are the BEST but with most folks seem to pass them over.

I had to signup just to comment on this recipe. All I can say is A-MAZ-ING! I followed the recipe mostly (which is not normal for me the only thing I can say is I did use more than 1/2 cup of pecans as directed (probably around a cup. Also I did keep them in the oven for a couple extra minutes. It is important to let them stand once out of the oven otherwise they run a bit so try not to let the fat kid inside of you get the best of you during the whole 10 minutes your waiting for them to cool : This is a must have recipe in any persons collection!
