Absolutely amazing! Used the same amount of orange juice and apples. But changed the rest up by using a 20 oz can of crushed pineapple in 100% juice and almost a whole bag of flaked coconut. It was very sweet and yummy and didn't need any extra sugar at all. I will definitely be making this again!

This was superb!!! I added a banana and 1 packet of monk fruit in the raw instead of the sugar and it was good but not to sweet. Will make this again!!!

Super easy, super refreshing and super delicious! I used pink lady apples and sweetened coconut so I didn't add any sugar. I didn't have any orange juice so instead I added lime mango juice that I had on hand. It tasted very tropical and oh so yummy. I will definitely make this again.

This was a quick and refreshing dish to make. It was so flavorful and my guests loved it and asked for the recipe. It's a nice change of pace from the usual fruit salad dishes. I will definately be making this again! :

This is one way to get kids to eat more fresh fruit. I manage an elementary school cafeteria and I'm always looking for healthy recipes to try out on our students. After watching the segment I knew I was going to try it. Sure enough the kids LOVED it. I didn't even need to add the extra sugar, and I did add some chopped marachino cherries for additional color. Thanks Trisha for another healthy option to serve our kids.

Wonderful and refreshing! I used a combination of grated apple & pear and Baker's angel flaked coconut because that is what I had on hand. I only needed about 3/4 cup orange juice. I didn't add any sugar since the coconut was sweetened.

I absolutely love this ambrosia! I have made it a few times now and have eperimented with some other flavors. The last time I made it, I did not add any suger but instead mixed in 1 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and then let the flavors melt together. What are some of the different kids of apples other people have used? I have used honeycrisp and red delicious.

I think this is a fabulous salad! I recently signed up for a vegetable and fruit delivery service, where they bring the Farmer's market to us. I was afraid of having too many apples in the house, as I am the only person who eats them. But I am sure with this recipe I won't have enough apples on hand! I used unsweetened coconut and added just about a tablespoon of sugar to the mixture, which was plenty as the fruit was so sweet already.
Thank you, Trisha, and Betty, as I am sure this will quickly become a favorite in our family!

This recipe is awesome! I added an additional quarter cup of coconut and 1 tsp. of lemon juice. Trisha cooks as well as she sings!

This was rather one note for me. I felt it needed something else, definitely more coconut & maybe cool whip or maraschino cherries. It's a very refreshing salad & I like the grated apple but this salad is all one color & needs something extra.
