Excellent flavor batter. Quick and easy. I didn't have blueberries so I substituted 1.5 cups of chocolate chips. And I used light sour cream with no loss in flavor. This is my new go to batter.

My daughter and husband made these for me on Mother's Day (today and they were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend these for breakfast or brunch, but don't plan on eating much more the rest of the day as they are very rich and hard to resist eating one or two....YUM!

WoW! These Pancakes Were Amazing! I Followed The Recipe Exactly As It Is Given. Pancakes Were Fluffy And Light. I Used Frozen Blueberries That I Put In The Microwave FOr 15 SecondS. MY Husband And Brother In Law Both Loved Them. I Well Absolutely Make Them Again!

We had breakfast for dinner today. I made Trisha's pancakes. They were excellent. My only suggestion is to half the recipe. The recipe made too much for family. But, I hope they reheat well, cause I am taking them for lunch tomorrow. They really were amazing. Lite and airy....full of flavor.

I rarely write reviews but had to after making these pancakes. I have been making pancakes for over 30 years and have to say that this is, by far, the best pancake recipe I have ever made. I did cut the butter in half ( 1 stick is way too much and used Almond milk instead of cow's milk. I omitted the blueberries and, instead, made a homemade blueberry syrup and whipped up fresh cream for the topping.
The batter is light ( not in calories , fluffy and absolutely delicious. It is definitely a Sunday morning pancake and well worth the effort to make them.

Thought these pancakes where tasty. Not real heavy.(great the next day too Will make again, next time I would adjust for the sweetness of bb. My fresh BB where out of season so I wished i added a touch more sugar, and a tiny pinch of salt more. But I bet they would of been perfect had bb been in season....
As I predicted I have made them again! I forgot to post my first review so I am going to add to it. The blueberries I bought this time where sweet so I followed the recipe to the T. LOVE EM
Definitely try this recipe if you like bb pancakes, I even make them for diner. you wont b disappointed.
recipe is a keeper. I also enjoy Trisha on food network. thank you Trisha!

Really Good! This is one of those recipes that will make you keep Sour Cream in your frig! It would be great for breakfast guests. Batter is thicker and really supports the blueberries. The suggested timing Trisha mentions in the recipe is spot on - thank you Food Network and Trisha Yearwood. We'll keep enjoying this recipe!

Pancake perfection. I use this recipe without any adjustments or substitutions when I have sour cream on hand, which is more often than having buttermilk in the fridge. One time I didn't read the instructions carefully and added the entire melted stick of butter instead of half.

I used this for waffles as well it was very tastey. But when making them on the griddle it is best not to use as much butter as Trisha did.Love your show Trish and God Bless You and your family

These were SO delicious! For a person who doesn't like raw blueberries -- the way these cooked up was so yummy! I adjusted the recipe, too -- no lemon zest and I added the blueberries to the pancakes once they were in the skillet. Like other reviewers said, I can see using this recipe for regular/plain cakes, too! I like the idea of adding whole wheat flour... mmmmmmm.
