I made this late yesterday and my husband said he could eat a pan of this all by himself! I say like Paula Deen would say YUUUUUUUUUMMMMM!

This was delicious, and extremely easy to make. I also added some lump crab meat, a few dashes of worchester sauce, and little tabasco. (I'm from New Orleans, I put tabasco on everything! YUM!

This recipe is sooooo good, but a little trick to add some "healthy" texture is to toast and fine chop some walnuts and add to the cheese mixture when assembling. They add a little oooomph and those all important omega's we need....makes that snack good and good for you, too! We love us some TY in Beaufort, SC!

Love Trisha and all her recipes ! Reminds me of my Mommas cooking . And green punch ! I haven't seen that since I was a kid !
Anyway , I noticed that you had mayo in a (old mason jar ... Did that have an old zinc lid ? I thought they were poisonous ? Dry goods only .... Maybe it's not an old one . Just wondering and I don't want anyone to get sick ....

My mom used to make this, but she put the dip on english muffins before baking. She would cut them in quarters and called them Cheese Triangles.Fast and easy!

This is, by far, the BEST dip I have ever made. I have been making it since I bought Trisha's Home Cooking cookbook. It is a favorite of my family and friends. It is so easy to make. The only thing I don't use is the cayenne pepper because my daughter doesn't like spicy foods. I serve it with bagel chips. I could eat the whole thing in one sitting. It is that good! Thank you so much Trisha for this recipe!
