This recipe's been around for ages-nothing new, but so good. Canned peaches are used as a cheaper alternative to out of season fruit. If you don't like them, try checking out your grocer's freezer section for frozen peaches. There is a lot of batter here. If it's to much, you can fix that by using THREE cans of peaches. Drain two of them and reserve the juice from only one. Fresh fruit-blueberries or blackberries- are a good addition to this recipe.Toss in a pint-uncooked-along with the peaches. Try adding a pinch of cinnamon and lemon zest to the batter, too, for a little zing.

This recipe is tasty and works great for a quick dessert. Just a reminder to my kitchen 11797741. Trisha didn't saw this was new. It's an old family recipe and many of us have recipes in our collection that are very similar to what the hosts print. If the recipe doesn't work for you, fine, but if you don't like her show, do us all a favor and JUST DON'T WATCH.

Not a fan of this recipe, more cake like than traditional cobbler. I would never use canned peaches and can't imagine anyone preferring them to fresh ripe peaches. Trisha are you sure you are from GA?

Yummy!! This was a great recipe! Being a "Northern" girl, cobbler isn't something I've made before, but now that I've tried this, it's going to be a keeper! I can see making this with all kinds of fruits!! So good warm with ice cream AND whipped cream, and the leftovers warm up really well too! Thanks for sharing your momma's recipe!!

I was very disappointment in the recipe. It is more cake like than a cobbler. Dry and too sweet tasting for our taste. Had to throw it out. Wasted a can of good peaches.

I've been making this all my life, I learned from my mom and nana and now my kids make it. It's so good warm. I've had it with berries too. It's like a sweet biscuit with warm fruit. Super easy.
