These were the best tasting sugar cookies I've ever made! Not to sweet, but very tasty. You can even snazz it up a little more by adding a little lemon extract to it. Recipe was easy, didn't have any crumb issues. Will use it again and again and again!

Something was definetly wrong with that recipe. Had to add another egg otherwise it was just crumbs. Won't use that one again. I see other people had the same problem.

I've made these cookies several times now. Used both this icing recipe, as well as a buttercream icing on these cookies and both were delicious. I do encourage heating oven only to 350-375. If the dough ends up somewhat dry, I just add a little heavy cream to the mixture, and that seems to do the trick. Will continue to use this recipe!

The cookies were kind of bland but baked at 400 degrees for 8 minutes without burning. i had a lot of extra icing that i just ended up throwing away. Plus, the dough was really crumbly and i had to add extra milk to it to get it to roll out without crumbling. the taste isn't that bad but i wouldn't really make these again.

I have made this recipe 4 times so far this Christmas. I saw Trisha making these on her show and they looked so good I decided to try them. I do think 400 degrees is hot to bake these. I was taking these out at 6 minutes at that temp because I wanted a soft sugar cookie not a crispy one. In the future I will decrease the temp to 350 or 375. The icing was good. My teen daughters inhaled the cookies as did hubby and snuggle puppy! Merry Christmas everyone! Try this recipe..its good!
