Great bread. Husband and daughter loved it (as well as me, too!. Make sure you spray your cans with the flour+non-stick coating spray...bread came out of the can easily with just running a thin sharp knife around the edges after 10 minutes of cooling. I live in a high elevation (6560ft so you will need to add 2T of extra AP flour. The bread batter is slightly runny and I thought I might be making 'raisin bran soup' not bread, but all turned out perfectly.

From Puerto Rico, I want to thank Trisha for this recipe so excellent. I did it and tried it and it's a delicious bread. Both I prepared 45 cans of this bread to give to a group of ladies from my church. I wear a bandana to wrap the can. Liked a lot and was an elegant detail. Back to prepare for other activities. Thank you!!

I was disappointed in this recipe. Though the bread itself tasted good, it stuck to the cans so badly I couldn't get it out in one piece and couldn't gift it as planned. I criscoed the heck out of those cans paying extra attention to the crease at the base and ripples. Also the batter leaked all over the cookie sheet the cans were set on while baking. I wouldn't fill .them more than half if I were to try it again. Not sure how I could have done it differently but if I make this again it won't be in the cans.

I cannot adequately describe the happiness my mouth experienced after tasting this bread! I didn't know what to expect but the texture was just so awesomely moist! I had to restrain myself from eating it ALL before anyone in my house knew i'd even made it :

Amazing recipe... I made it at home the first time and it was such a hit that I made small loaves for gifts this past Christmas.. I added walnuts to it and it was just as tasty. Thanks!
