I made this after watching Trisha make it on TV. I loved the fact that you could just put it in the crockpot and leave it. Mine turned out great. I used a small scoop to fill the cups which made it very easy and they were all about the same size. The next time I may add some dried fruit also.

I love this recipe! Made it just as written and turned out perfect. The hardest part was waiting for them to harden...they just smelled soooo good. They were worth the wait!

This is a great recipe. I cut mine in half and used mini cupcake liners, and it yielded around 36. I cooked it on low for about two hours and stirred it throughout the cooking time, and I had no burnt results as others are writing about. Also, I added the peanuts in at the end. I used a crock pot liner, so no mess to clean up afterwards. I will make this again.

The ingredients are good but the three hours is totally unnecessary. There is nothing to cook here so three hours risks scorching the chocolate and burning the nuts if your slow cooker isn't a good one. Simply use a double boiler to melt the chocolates (I made my own Almond bark a lot cheaper with white chocolate, almonds and lard, Then combine the melted chocolates with the nuts. Portion out and cool. You'll be done in less than 15 minutes! Love you still Trisha!

Count me in with the many others that say what a waste of my money but let me add and my time-not only waiting for the finish but cleaning up the burnt up mess in my crockpot. I am so disappointed with this mess as I spent a lot of money - peanuts, almond bark, chocolate, mini cupcake liners etc but then there is the fact that I have to start all over again and make something else. Then the added fact that my house is smelling more like burnt peanuts than roasted peanuts... Have a Rival Crockpot. Put it on low for exactly 3 hours and have just dumped it all down the disposal. Don't think I will try the other recipes as don't want to have more failures. Will go back to standbys....

I read the reviews before I started. I think everyones crockes vary a bit in temprature. I a similar recipe that said to start on high for 45 minutes, Stir and set to low for another hour. I babied it to make sure it wont burn. It was done right at 2 hours total and I stirred it several times. It turned our very good. Tastes great. I do have to wonder about one of the other reviews that suggested doing this over a double boiler? I wonder if that would work just as well and not have to watch over it so much. I will definitly make this again.

I'm always looking for good and easy recipes. I too used an oval crockpot and the mixture was done even before 2 1/2 hours. There was the beginnings of the white chocolate scortching around the edge of the pot and there was some 'sandy' content in one portion of the bottom of the crockpot indicating some of the chocolate got too hot. I too got much more than the indicated portions. I would make this again.

Like others, this was an expensive disaster. Didn't think about reading the reviews first (lesson learned. I set the crockpot for 10 hours (my lowest setting other than warm and checked in 3 hours. The nuts weren't burned but the whole recipe came out like it was made of sand. What a disappointment.
