Absolutely marvelous! This is my first time with you. Saw you on your show and you were making this recipe. Sounded delish so I immediately went out and purchased the ingredients and made them today. I used my Rival oval crock pot. After reading these reviews I decided to check on it in 2 1/2 hours. It was done so I stirred till mixed (nothing burned. I bought enough paper liners for 40 pieces. I used my teaspoon cookie dropper to make candy. Lot less mess. Ran out of paper cups so I was laying wax paper on my counter and my cookie sheets. When I finally finished there was "84" pieces of candy. My husband and I both loved them and I am putting them in Christmas tins for an extra gift made from the heart. I have one question...when laying the candies in the tin do I need to put wax paper for each layer??...Thanks again ...I'll be trying your snickerdoodles next. Anxiously awaiting your reply...

Lost a lot of money on this one, like others candy was burnt and it all went in the trash. Should have made fudge!!

I had absolutely no issues with burnt peanuts. I used the slow cooker mode on my rice cooker for this and it has a removable teflon bowl. Almond bark is the same as the cheap white candy coat at the store. All of the major chains have that.

I wish I had of read all the reviews before I started with this recipe. It turned out well, no burnt peanuts but one thing I would change is using UNsalted peanuts, the candy just does not taste right with the salted peanuts. May try cashews or pecans. Very easy and recipe makes a lot of candy. I lined my crockpot with a slow cooker liner and after I mixed all together, I lifted the bag, cut a hole in the bottom and used like an icing bag. Squeezed candy into cupcake lines. No mess and no clean up!

Sorry. Did not like this . Not the good old fashion fudge I seem to like. I think it was the almond bark that did it for me. Trisha talks so fast and does not tell her amounts she adds and it is very hard to follow her recipes on TV. Written ones are better. First time for me to watch and was not really happy with it all. Really disappointed .

My results were just as advertised - easy and delicious. I read the reviews before-hand and kept a close eye on it. It only needed 2 1/2 hours in a smaller crockpot that only would allow for 1/2 the recipe. It still made 24 pieces that could actually have been a bit smaller.

I really wish I'd read the reviews on this recipe before I attempted it last night! My batch burned and made my whole house smell awful! I think it should've been mentioned either on the show or on the printed recipe that not all slow cookers cook at the same temperature. I may try this again, but only on the warm setting of my slow cooker. Please remember to make notes like this in the future on your recipes Trisha! Its more helpful!

I followed the recipe exactly - only at 3 hours when I removed the lid I was shocked to find that the peanuts had burned!!! The entire crockpot full of delicious candy and peanuts was ruined. Not sure what happened, I guess I should have checked on it sooner. So bummed.

I followed the recipe exactly. At the end of 3 hours, most of the peanuts were completely burnt and when I tried to stir the mix it was just a huge blob!!! This was a very expensive mistake. My garbage disposal ate the entire mess!!!!!! I am very upset that I wasted that much money.

No problem with burning, I only have a low or high model. Very easy to do, but trouble finding almond bark, but thanks to Walmart I was able to find it. I will make again, maybe adding raisins at the end or using cashews instead of peanuts. Tricia makes some good stuff but she did downplay where to find that almond bark! And the smell of the nuts!
