Easy Christmas candy recipe. Only made a couple changes. Didn't add as many nuts..also added a pinch of salt. ONE big change-made candy in mini paper liners, .the type you use for candy & put them in mini muffin tins. Recipe made over 10 dz. candies. Thought using standard cupcake liners was way too much candy for a single serving, & though it takes longer to make it this way, it turned out perfect.

This recipe was really good and easy no problems with burning. But I would say stay home so that you can definately keep an eye on the candy, because candy was done in about 2 hrs. However, I made a lot of them and I had a lot of the candies left over after Christmas. And, as of today they have ended up molding. So if you are going to make a lot of these you should probably freeze them. But, everyone who had the candy loved them. I will definately make these again and again not only for special occasions.

This was really fun and easy. My daughter and I made this candy for christmas gifts for friends, family and teachers. We put the candy in mason jars and dressed them with tags and tissue paper. They were a big hit, everyone loved it. We ended up having to make the candy 3 times and they still want more.

Awesome candy. I used mini muffin liners and included in Christmas gifts. Everyone loved them and it made a lot. I found everything needed at my local Kroger.

I made this recipe but had a hard time getting almond bark. Had to order it from Amazon and it was expensive but very good. I did make a boo-boo. I only added one 24 oz.bark and I got 54 cups.I was so excited to make it and everyone loved it. Wasn't till I watched the tape again I realize she used 2 packages of the blue label bark.

I had my doubts after reading some of the reviews, but it was Fantastic! Super Easy - Set it and forget about it. I did check the crock pot after 2 1/2 hrs, but did not stir. Right at 3hrs I stirred and found that nothing had burned. This is now my "go to" candy recipe.

Read many of the reviews and was concerned about the outcome, but made it exactly as Trisha said, but the cut the time down to 2 hours 15 minutes. It came out perfect and everyone loved it. It does make A LOT, so have your cups ready to go. Thanks for a great recipe Trisha!!!

I really like the concept. The first time I made it I made as is,even though dry roasted peanuts and sweet german chocolate are not my thing. It did get me thinking so I added Nutella and Spanish peanuts to the first batch and it did taste better. Then it made me think of an old cookie/candy that we make at Christmas time. Spider cookies we call them. The second batch I made I put only spanish peanuts 3 cans on bottom, then 12 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips and 12oz. butterscotch chips. and 1 1/2 lbs. white almond bark. really really good. Next time I will put some broken up chow mein crunchy noodles which is what is in the spider cookies. I also made in mini cupcake pans 1 TBS. instead of regular cupcake pans 2 TBS., just a better size. Thanks for the concept Trisha.
