Super easy and very yummy recipe. I just made 4 batches for a cookie swap and so far they are a hit with my kids. I didn't press down on the dough balls like some people suggested, I set the timer for 4 minutes then whack the pans on the counter top. Then I put them back in the oven to finish cooking.. I also set the oven for 375, 400 seemed too hot and I like these a little softer.... ENJOY :

Perfect Snickerdoodles! I followed other's suggestions of flattening them a bit. They baked just right and look just like the picture!

These are awesome. With other reviewers mentioning that they flattened theirs, I did so as well. I also used a melon baller to scoop the dough - everyone was perfect. After the first pan, I decided to roll them in the cinnamon sugar 2 times, I rolled the entire pan, and then re-rolled them again - they came out looking exactly as the picture - otherwise they were a bit to light. I will definitely make these again.

These are SO easy to make and pretty tasty. I think i will add a bit of cinnamon to the dough next time though. I was craving a little more of that cinnamon flavor. I also like to use butter instead of shortning. I will make these again I am sure.

Very good. My oven tends to run a little hot so I baked at 350 for 8 min. If they were slightly under done I let them sit on the cookie sheet for another minute. I slightly flattened mine and they came out perfect.
