I followed all the directions, but my containers were not airtight, so my dough is hard. Will the rolls still bake up OK?

These rolls were great. We ate them warm and cold with syrup. I can see baking these with cinnamon and sugar on top. I think this dough is good savory or sweet or all by itself. Thanks Trisha I added this to my favorite things to make along with lots of your stuff. I shared it with my daughter.

I am making Trisha's Roast Beef for family supper today, so I decided I would make these spoon rolls too. I have the dough prepared in the refrig, and something got me to thinking. I checked two more web sites and both of those spoon roll recipes were Trisha Yearwood's and both called for 2 cups of warm water (this recipe just calls for one cup. I guess that may be why I couldn't pour the dough in to an airtight bowl. Will let you know how mine turn out.

The dough is interesting - does not rise in the fridge - and the rolls are more like a biscuit than a yeast bread - but boy are they good! Buttery - tender and delicious. Expect a heavy dough - not an airy yeasty dough with bubbles in it.

As close to easy and perfect as can be. These are delicious. And so convenient. I top mine with a bit of parm mid-baking for a little crusty goodness.

Super easy and delish! Being able to make them as you need them makes them even better. I used my cookie scoop to measure them for the mini-muffin pan which made it even easier and less messy. I took these to a luncheon to serve with soup and salads, and they got raves.

I did try and they are good... Buttt, quick question... Why are there no pics of the recipe??? I really think more people would try the Trisha's recipes, if there were pics... Thank you...

These are absolutely amazing! I am very picky about my bread and these exceeded my expectations. I love that you can make as many as you want and be able to keep the dough in the frig for two weeks (as she said on her show. Don't hesititate to make these...they are well worth it!!
