We loved this with Easter dinner. I used 2 T of butter in the topping and ended up having to sort of freestyle the dressing, but the combination of ingredients and the unique topping are awesome. Highly recommend!

The topping is nice and crunchy, but bland on its own - next time, I'll use a bit of salt or sugar to change it up. Also, half a stick of butter is too much - I'll use a quarter stick next time - can always add more... I'm using feta instead of parmesan to kick up the salt, and I agree with a previous reviewer that there's an awful lot of sugar in that dressing - took forever to dissolve, and it's mighty sweet - will cut in half next time.

The topping was to die for!! Did not realize how easy it was to make fun crunchy topping. Ramen noodles? Who knew. BTW I used olive oil and not butter, felt a little better about that and it was so frickin good. I made a jar full to keep in fridge to use on everything!!!!

This was soooo good. Just a bit different than the ususal spinach/strawberry salad. I happen to have smoked paprika so I used that. It tasted like there was bacon in it with all the crunchies.

Made last nite for a group of family / friends. Great Salad! - perfect for Spring (ie upcoming Easter - I agree with others on being a tad too sweet with the sugar amount on the recipe. I put half and probably didn't even need that. Also - watch the crunchies in the oven - had a couple of darker than I would have liked, but they didn't taste burnt (thank goodness. Everyone enjoyed! Have leftover ingredients so will make another tonite. I had made a double batch and there wasn't anything left. Everyone asked for recipe. Deelish!

This is a very good recipe. I made it for a Super Bowl party. My 20 year old niece asked for the recipe. I didn't have sunflower seeds so I used chopped pecans. To avoid any chance of sogginess, I just had everyone add their own crunch. Worked out great.

I made this for dinner last night and it was a huge hit! My husband said the crunchy topping made it a "fun" salad! I should have made more.

This is a great salad, however, the dressing is too sweet. I didn't put in the whole amount called for because I knew it was too much sugar and still too sweet. We all loved it but everyone in my family agreed when I make it again to put about half as much sugar. Otherwise fantastic.

I love the crispy crunchies on this salad - what a great idea! It really turns a boring spinach/strawberry salad into something new. I added chopped apples to mine as well. Am making this entire meal from this episode for my next book (aka wine club.
