Oh my goodness. Just what we needed on a cold election night. Everyone had two bowls full. Yummy. Thanks, Trisha, I have been looking for a great Chicken Tortilla Soup recipe and this is it.

made this on Sunday and hubby and inlaws raved about it! couldn't be easier too. the only thing i did different is use a whole Rotisserie chicken picked, hot salsa, and added an extra can of corn. I did let it simmer for a couple hours on low to get all the spices to meld together. we also just used the cheese for garnish since i can't remember if she put it in and also used it as garnish. sooooo yummy! hubby is already asking for it again.

This was my Halloween treat for the hubs. It was awesome!! All of the parents of the trick-or-treaters wanted to know what was cooking because it smelled so good! Easy, easy, easy! Keep 'em coming Trisha Yearwood - this one's a keeper! Thanks!

Easy and so good. The only thing I left out were the kidney beans (didn't have any I also used meat from a rotisserie chicken. You will love this, it made enough that it will please a crowd or you will have leftovers. Can't wait to try some other recipes if they are all this easy and good. I'm impressed and love the show.

The reason everyone keeps complaining that this soup is too thin is that the recipe is wrong. She recently cooked this same recipe on "the chew" and their recipe states to boil for 10 min after adding broth and half and half. This make sense since you have to boil liquid with a rue in order to thicken it (like a pudding.

This has got to be one of the best receipes I've ever made!! My husband & I loved it soooooo much! It's hardy & fills you up! I love how if we want it hot we add our own hot sauce. Because it was sooo good I shared it with some friends & they loved it! Thank's Trisha! Great work! Oh, the dry mix for this is around $7.00. No joke & it only makes enough for 3 people! Yours fed 5 with left over's!!

Very good and awesome for a comfort food. I doubled the recipe because I had family over, and with the kids fed, women having 2 bowls each, and the men having three...we still had 3 huge tupperware tubs full! It was well worth it when I checked out at the register and the total was $35 for everything! All I had in my pantry was the beans and cream of chicken soup. My family and I LOVED this recipe! It is a keeper!
