I was less than thrilled with these cookies. I have a reputation as quite the cookie maker, and there is no chance that I would serve these to anyone. Sorry. The cookie itself had next to no actual "cookie" consistency about it. You end up with flat, buttery discs studded with fruit and chocolate.

They were very good and will be making them again. However, mine did not spread and were much thicker than the picture. I don't know why, but this did not affect the taste at all, and they were still delicious!!!

Made these today for a cookie exchange. they are delicious - however, the first batch I made had way too many additions (nuts, white chocolate chips, cranberries. when I made second batch, I used a little less this time. turned out great. will make again.

I am a cookie-holic. I would eat cookies for breakfast, lunch and dinner...and I have :- These cookies are some of the best I've ever eaten!!! Wow! The dough seems as though it will be too dry, but it's not. The cookies DO spread in the pan, so use a smaller amount than usual. The taste is spectacular. Definitely a Christmas staple from now on!

These cookies are the bomb. I love the fact that the cranberries are chopped, that way you get the wonderful flavor but not a big chewy hunk of berry that gets stuck in your teeth. The flavor is a fantastic combination. These cookies were a hit with friends and family (and me too.
