unfortunately, we used whipping cream. it was totally a waste. remember to use regular heavy cream!! we will have to try this again - it looks really good!!

Very tasty! I must have just slightly overheated the chocolate because there were some oils sitting on top but once I used a paper towel to remove some & stirred every hour or so it worked great & tasted great. Easy to make & would do them again- definitely a recipe to impress. I also added almond extract & some rasberry dessert wine for added flavor!

Great recipe after a little modification... I found the ganache was too soft to roll into balls, even after chilling overnight in the refrigerator, so doubling the chocolate (yum! to cream ratio to 2:1 made them much more workable. A touch of espresso powder made it taste darker and richer, which I liked. Can't wait to try maybe a smidge of Chipotle powder to give it a little hint of heat and smoke.

Kudos to 5Fix and Keegan Gerhard for making such an awesome dish so accessible!

I will never again buy truffles!!! I will say that my first batch was way too soft after chilling and rolling etc... I tried 3 parts chocolate to 1 part cream and the batch came out perfect! I have since made this recipe a couple of times, and handed them out as christmas gifts! Love these!

Awesome recipe! I actually demonstrated this to a group of women for a church activity and it was a huge hit. So easy and SOOOO delicious! Great for party favors and also as part of a Christmas or birthday basket.

Rated a 5, but after 5 hours of chilling, I had to add cocoa powder for it to be firm enough to work with. But after that it went famously. Truffles turned out good. Definitely going to do again.

I will never buy wrapped chocolates again! This ganache is SO easy! We've had fun adding flavorings...instant coffee powder, seedless raspberry jam, pb, almond flavoring...possibilities are endless! Thanks Keegan!

Wonderful, easy and way to impress! This is a fun and totally yum dessert or side to a dessert. I do add a half tsp of very good quality vanilla.Giving it this year in my Christmas food gifts.
