These are wonderful! I made these for the superbowl and they were the biggest hit.

LDP is a culinary master. These ribs are PHENOMENAL. I made the marinade as directed and split it between 2 big pots. I had a rack of baby-backs and part of a rack of spare ribs. I boiled them for about 20 minutes, then transferred them to a hot charcoal grill and let them cook and get some color for about 20 or 25 minutes. Then I slathered them with my favorite homemade bbq sauce and they looked gorgeous. They were only registering about 160 with a meat thermometer, and I wanted 170 to make sure they were done, so I put them on a broiler pan and covered them with foil and baked at 350 for 30 minutes. AMAZING AMAZING RIBS. Super tender, flavorful. I think they are even better than Chili's!!! I'm not crazy about Picante or Soy sauce by itself, but in this marinade, it tastes incredible. You should try these at least once. This recipe will be made again and again at my house. Thanks Lou, YOU ROCK!!!!

Cooked Lou Diamond Phillips Turbo Ribs tonight. Ribs and marinade with your favorite BBQ sauce would stand alone. The jicama, mango, onion, pepper, avocado sauce makes it one of the best rib dinners I have ever eaten. WOW!

My husband and I both loved the flavor imparted in the ribs from the marinade. This recipe is a keeper!
