OMG!!! This recipe was absolutely delicious. Only change I made was that I added a handful of frozen peas with other veg - that's it.My hubby makes the best stuffing, and as a result, my dumplings were scrumptious..Try it -you'll like it

I was a little unsure of the stuffing dumplings, but they were fantastic! My stuffing was pretty chunky, so I had to chop it up a bit to make it more dumpling-friendly. The soup was perfect and used up just about all the leftovers I had. A new family tradition was started last night!

Excellent! I added ALL of our leftovers! Corn, creamed onions, mashed potatoes, green beans, turnip, sweet potato, and broccoli casserole. It came out like a turkey chowder! Oh, and also a few splashes of balsamic vinegar. The meatballs were to die for...........We won't wait for Thanksgiving to have them again.

I love this soup! My mom has made it for the last couple years and looks forward to it more than Thanksgiving itself. It is so hearty, yet light. It brings together all the flavors of Thanksgiving and helps you get rid of those Thanksgiving leftovers. I follow the directions in the recipe until I get to the corn. For thanksgiving, I make a green bean casserole with green beans, corn, onion, and water chestnuts. I just add the vegetables from that to the soup. Gives it a little extra crunch. If you are hesitant about the stuffing dumplings, don't be. They are my favorite part.

I was skeptical at first because of the stuffing dumplings, but this turned out to be SCRUMPTIOUS!!! I didn't have my turkey carcass, so I just used chicken broth and one turkey wing that was left. I used a very moist southern style dressing and I added the flour and the eggs. Instead of rolling the stiffing. I dropped it in using the rounded tablespoon. Just plain ole good comfort food...hmmm!

The stuffing dumplings were out of this world. I was initially hesitant to add them to my leftover Thanksgiving Turkey soup, but I am so glad I did. From now on I will be replacing my usual noodles for these stuffing dumpling whenever I make chicken or turkey soup!

I made this soup today, and I have to tell you.......it was amazing and soooo comforting on a cold day. I loved everything about it. I used frozen mixed vegies, I also saved the carrots from the first simmer you have to do, why throw them away? I also used 4 cups of chicken stock and the rest water to cover the carcass. This was very, very good...by the way those dumplings from the stuffing? AMAZING !!!
