Delicious! My husband ate 3 bowls and was raiding the pot after dinner! Did not have corn on hand, substituted zucchini and mushrooms at the carrots and celery stage. I will definitly make again, and before next Thanksgiving.

This was the best soup ever with all my Thanksgiving leftovers! My husband really enjoyed it as well. Thanks for sharing it.

I LOVED THIS!
It was delicious, and so easy to tailor to whatever leftovers you might have. It incorporated all the tastes and smells of Thanksgiving Day in one dish!

Yummy! I love the idea of stuffing dumplings. I used my own homemade turkey stock (threw in the turkey and aromatics and boiled for at least a couple of hours, red chard, a few scoops of mashed potatoes, and a bit of turkey meat and the dumplings. It was super yummy and relatively light compared to what I've been eating all weekend. I will definitely be making this next year!

Pretty good, loved the use of Thanksgiving left overs yet it didn't taste like it.

This was a very hearty, and yummy way to use left overs.
I will use it again, next year. Also even if you stuffing is moist, I think it is important to use the eggs and flour. It brings the dumplings together, and gives them that egg'y dumpling texture, which is the whole reason we eat them in the first place. Try this make sure your salt and peppering often. Just like any soup it can become bland if you aren't adding salt and pepper..

I made this on Fri. after Thanksgiving and it was just so-so. I'm glad I waited until Sun. to review it. It's delicious after the flavors have melled for 2 days, and with the addition of salt & more pepper. Here's a head's up on the dumplings. If you make good old fashioned Southern dressing - i.e. very moist - you don't need to fool with flour & eggs or anything else to make the dumplings. Just take a spoonful of leftover dressing, smush it & roll it into a ball. There you go!
