I saw the recipe on an email I received from Food Network and thought it looked delicious. Well, it was! I was a little concerned about the stuffing dumplings because my friend brought stuffing that had fruit it it (cranberries and pears, but it didn't take away from the overall tastiness of the soup. And, like another reviewer said, it was so nice to be able to use everything you already had and not have to run to the store for ingredients. I invited the neighbors over to have some since it turned out so good! Thanks, Food Network, for an excellent recipe! I'll be making this year after year after year!

What a fun, creative, and great way to reuse Thanksgiving leftovers. I am so impressed with the stuffing dumplings. What a clever idea! The soup was fresh and homemade and tasted delicious. I felt good that nothing was going to waste. I made it for my family and they all loved it. This will definitely have to become an after Thanksgiving tradition for me.

i'm not a huge fan of turkey...but last year over thanksgiving dinner of cornish game hens, i promised my hubby i would do a turkey. i smoked mine (using the neeley's brine recipe, which added a great flavor to this soup. no corn in my house, so i threw in some leftover peas instead. my stuffing had been cornbread, apple and sausage...so the dumplings were slightly sweet. good use of ridding the fridge of turkey. now if only i could find something to do with that dang green bean casserole!

This soup was so delicious, so easy, and much better than the standard turkey soup - thanks to the dumplings. I really like that I didn't have to run to the store for anything. The recipe uses everything we already had in the house from cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Great recipe!

I brined a turkey for Thanksgiving which was awesome. Then today I made this soup with the leftovers. I know that it said that it was easy level, however, it took me a few hours to make this soup. Maybe I am a little more fussy on the prep then some. Anyways, I delivered the soup to a few shut-ins. They raved and was forever "THANKFUL". Isn't that what THANKSGIVING is all about? GREAT RECIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!
