I tried this recipe and I was definitely satisfied. When I watched it I was sure how it was going to taste but I am truly amazed. My husband and my 3 yr old loves it. My husband usually does not eat left overs for this meal we ate it until it was gone. Needless to say, the meal did not last long! It was really good.

I am surprised at all the mixed reviews. I think this recipe is fantastic. The meat suace is rich and tasty. In a pinch, I use a bottled white sauce (don't tell Rachel and that cuts down on the cooking time. But this is such a great concept and really comes together well.

I have made this recipe twice. The first time it literally took me over an hour to cook, by the time I cut, chopped and cooked everything. To make it in under 30 minutes you really have to book it! The second time I made it it still took a good 45 minutes. The flavors are really good. I used turkey instead of beef, seemed like to much with the beef, especially with the white cheese sauce. Overall a good dish and I will make it again. Lots of ingredients though. I always forget something whenever I make this and have to go back to the store! Give the recipe a few tries to tweek it to your liking. Meat sauce was a bit runny so either use less beef stock or let it simmer longer.

My husband and I just loved the flavors of the meat sauce. The wine, allspice, and bay leaf gave it a twist on a classic. I did not have carrots or pancetta on hand, but did not miss them one bit! The white sauce was simple in flavor, but it gave a nice creaminess to the pasta.

I will definitely make this again! Thanks for a new dish!

I thought this didn't have much of an interesting flavor. Didn't taste bad, but I won't be making it again.

Although it is easy to make, took longer than 30 minutes. Wasn't crazy about the white sauce. Meat sauce was a bit runny but extremely tasty. Will make again but tweek it a bit. Kids loved it!

Took me longer than 30 min.. not as organized as Rachael! But very good! Will keep trying to make it faster. Family loved it! Definitely need to make more meat sauce for amount of white sauce... but this is one to keep trying to perfect!

This recipe was yummy, I didn't use the pancetta either or all spice and it came out wonderful but I had to let the sauce simmer for a while as well it was too runny at first. But once I let it sit, it turned out awesome!!!!
This will be a must have again!! I used red cooking wine instead of regular wine and it tasted the best!

I made this the day the recipe aired last week. It has great flavor however, as another reviewer noted, I followed the recipe exactly and the meat sauce was extremely runny and very liquidy. I was happy I had time before dinner and was able to let the sauce simmer and much of the liquid cooked off. If you let it simmer for about 30-45 minutes, the liquid will disipate and you will have lovely rich sauce. I will make it again as my husband loved it! I did too, but this recipe is alot of work and and takes the novice cook much more than 30 minutes! I may try making large batches of the meat sauce and freezing it in smaller containers to make future meals and save time!
