I tried this the other night and it was delish! I did not use the carrots and substituted beef broth for the red wine, but otherwise followed the recipe. I liked it so much that I will be fixing it again soon instead of our usual spaghetti!! Also had some leftover for lunch the next day and it was just as good, if not better reheated!

After watching the show, I created my own vegetarian version. In lieu of meat, I sliced up some baby portobellos. And added abut 1/4 can leftover peeled tomatoes instead of the tomato paste. Still, I felt like it was missing a little something. Next time I'll use more tomatoes and a pinch of extra salt. I also skipped the beef broth and wine. I might want to put in some wine next time, just to give it some more body. But overall it was very easy and definitely worth making again.

This was such an easy recipe to make--truly a 30 minute meal. My husband loved it and my 3 year old devoured it! A great success!

This was a good pasta recipe, but doesn't really taste like lasagna - more like goulash. It made a ton and we were able to freeze a whole casserole dish of leftovers. Yummy, but doesn't hit the spot if you are craving lasagna.

Unbelievable delicious! I didn't think it was going to be as good as it was. I did add a little fresh basil, mozzarella and parmesan to the white sauce (more cheese the better!.

I made this for my hubby and I last night. It was great! I agree with the others that there could be a little more red sauce. It is very yummy so we ate lots of it. I would definitely make this again!

I MADE THIS FOR MY FAMILY. THE REVIEWS WERE NOT GREAT. ALSO, IT TOOK ME MUCH LONGER THAN 30 MINUTES.
