    Rather than being gooey or decadent, I found this cake to be surprisingly light (even in color - a very pale cake. The texture was rather springy rather than moist. The frosting recipe required a lot of modification...perhaps it's the humidity where I live, I don't know. I wouldn't make it again.

    This cake is easy to make and delicious. You better print up a lot of copies of the recipe to hand out to your friends.
