I find this recipe to be more of a base so that you can add your own touches. I added more garlic, salt and some lemon juice for more flavor. Next time I plan to make it with some cream cheese to make a creamy pesto. Overall, really easy to make and it goes perfect with Parmesan crusted baked chicken.

Incredible. Again,Tyler brings his "A" game. I used fresh basil and a very good olive oil. The flavor was incredible. I added a little of the pasta water to make sure all the pasta was coated. I roasted shrimp with a littele salt&pepper, olive oil and the juice of one lemon. I served these on top of the pasta with homemade Garlic bread. My wife and guests enjoyed this immensely.

Probably only had a cup of loose packed basil but that was fine. Doubled the garlic and it was good over the pasta. Also drizzled some over hard boiled wedges - yummy.

I love finding recipes I can adapt easily to gluten and dairy free! I used all of the ingredients, without parm, and substituted a store-bought gluten free pasta. The pesto came out wel, but I like to grind in as many herbs as possible!

It was easy and fun to make. My family love it. I cooked one pound of pasta, but had to double the pesto sauce. Next time, I will cook half the pasta. A Great dish that compliments anything you cook. By the way... I also added more garlic...Love my garlic.

A solid pesto recipe. It definitely tasted better than store bought pesto and it was so easy to make. I added more garlic as well. It's a good base - then you can tweak to taste. I added asparagus cut in one inch slices to the pasta.

We've made this pesto twice now and have loved it both times. We follow the recipe except use 3 cloves of garlic because we really like garlic. The pesto's flavor is prominent enough to be used with whole wheat pasta. We use different varieties of basil together out of our garden picked fresh that day.

This recipe is really easy. However, it's very bland. I would add more salt and lots more garlic.

I love the fact that it was so simple to make with very few ingredients and that it was vegetarian. It was absolutely delicious and pretty to eat. my husband isn't a pasta fan but even he loved it. Thanks Tyler

I made this tonight for a party. It's probably the easiest recipe I've ever made and everyone really liked it! My husband asked me to make it again, so that alone made it a success! Loved it.
