Very good - 1/2 t cinnamon in apples, 2t cinnamon in batter, no sabayon - van ice cream. Also baked this in a small casserole vs individual ramekins.

This dish is amazing! My husband said its one of the best things I've ever made! I could not find Brioche so I used a crusty white bread and I didn't make the sauce because I couldn't find any apple Liquor, but it turned out great! Even my kids at all of it!

I love anything apple and of course french toast is divine, so I wanted to try this individual apple surprise. My husband loved it and so did I. Did not have time to make the sauce, but served it with ice cream as other reviewers suggested. Super good! I added a bit of fresh nutmeg to the apple mixture too. This recipe is a keeper.

I made this for friends the other night. I could not find the apple liquer for the sauce, so I made some. I reduce 2/3 cups apple juice down to a little more than half and add Voldka to equal 1/3 c. It turned out great. Also, I could not find Brioche. I found a recipe on the internet and made that too. My friends really enjoyed it and so did I. Thanks Tyler. Tonight we are having the Beef Stroganoff with Buttered Noodles. Can't wait.

I can't find the bread in my neighborhood. Is there a substitution?

I made this recipe twice, once for a dinner with friends, and once for my parents and in-laws. AMAZING reviews from everyone. The Sabayon sounds intimidating to make, but it was really simple and tasted delicious. We served it with vanilla ice cream. which was great with it. Yet another teriffic recipe from Tyler!!

Too much lemon made the sweet apples very tart. A lot of prep work and the end result wasn't all that great. There was too much breading and not enough filling. Even though I greased up my ramekins, the bread stuck to the sides and bottom. I had to throw one out because I couldn't get it cleaned. Very disappointed.

This was a show stopper last night!! As always Tyler can make you into a Rock Star with simple beautiful dishes! It was easy to prepare & absolutely Divine to break into when complete. I live in a very rural area & did not have access to any Brioche right now, so I wondered the bread aisle aimlessly thinking something will inspire me I was determined to make this dish Happen. The luck of the Irish was with me this day, I found a New Thomas limited edition Season`s Best Apple Cinnamon Swirl breakfast bread, It worked Perfectly!! I also doubled up on the sabayon sauce, my guests always enjoy extra sauces. Thank You Tyler, it was the perfect ending to your Beef Stroganoff dish on a Cool New England night!! E
