we are not dessert people, but it looked so great when Tyler made it on the show, and it was so easy to make. was totaly awesome. I didnt go all the way with the sauce, and just poured cream on it, was totaly perfect. Went very well with the Short Ribs Stroganoff. Tyler - as always, you ROCK.

By the time I went to the store the bakery was out of brioche so I used white sandwich bread. I still turned out great.

I made this for our 10 year anniversary dinner along with the Beef Stroganoff entree that Tyler made in this episode and it was so perfect! It was very simple to make and the taste was just amazing.

My husband doesn't like very sweet, sugary desserts and this had the right balance of flavour and sweetness. I'm not a big fan of Sabayon sauce and I didn't have time to make it anyway so I served the Apple Charlotte with vanilla ice cream melted over it and it was sooooo good. I definitely recommend this recipe and I LOVE the individual desserts like this.

Made this last night for my husband for Valentines Day (along with Tyler's stroganoff. It was fantastic. Noticed, though, that the recipe didn't say to let them set up in the 'fridge for about 1-2 hours before baking like Tyler said to do on the show. I remembered, and put them in the 'fridge. They were fantastic. Not sure how they'd be if you don't let them set up. Couldn't find the apple liquer (and the recipe also didn't say it needs to be a kind of apple liquer, so didnt make the sauce. Just served them fresh out of the oven with ice cream like apple pie a la mode. YUMMY!

Great dessert. It's nice to have an individual dessert, so elegant. I did make this twice omitting the lemon juice in the apple mixture the second time I made it. The whole lemon made the apple mixture quite tart even when I made it with sweet apples. End results were perfect.

I'm always looking for individual dessert recipes, so when I saw this on Tyler's show, I had to make it. The dessert was easy to make, it wasn't too sweet and the flavors were well-balanced. The outside layer of the brioche was slightly crispy and the inside texture was like bread-pudding with the sweet apple filling. I served it with homemade whipped cream with cinnamon instead of the Cinnamon Sabayon. I did not follow the whole recipe exactly as it was written. For the apple filling, I used 1/2 lemon instead of a whole lemon and I used about 1/4 cup of dark brown sugar instead of 1/2 cup of light brown sugar. I also used about 1 tbsp of vanilla extract instead of the vanilla bean. For the batter, I mostly followed everything directed minus the full tbsp of cinnamon. It's amazing how this whole dessert comes together when taken out of the ramekin. It's a beautiful dessert and it's become one of my favorites!
