Love it! I like to use 3 eggs and white pepper.

This is a great easy soup. Took just a few minutes to put together. Next time though i will only use 1 egg instead of 2.

HERE IT IS - HAVE FUN. THIS ONE IS AS CLOSE TO BEING THE REAL DEAL AS IF MY HUSBAND HIMSELF HAD MADE IT.

Seemed bland and very thin, if I was going to try the recipe again I would add more cornstarch to thicken it out and find a way to enhance the flavor quite a bit. Not worth my time...

You know it's a great recipe when it's easy to follow and the results come out as expected, the FIRST time you attempt it. I will be doing this again, and I loved one of the other reviewer's suggestion to add corn, peas and diced chicken. I may even have this again for dinner with those additions!

Any time I can replicate my favorite takeout standbys, I'm a happy girl!

And who knew that missing flavor component was ginger? I always associate ginger with sweet things. It gives it just the right amount of authenticity!

I used vegetable stock intead of the chicken and less sodium soy sauce and it was still delicious!

Very tasty Egg Drop Soup and versatile too. I don't understand all the gripes about being bland and tasteless. FN is becoming a food channel of hot overspiced foods. Had enough Essence in everything.

Little less soy, little more cornstarch and it's perfect
(I think maybe he meant a teaspoon of soy instead of tablespoon?

I tried this recipe for my daughter that really enjoys egg drop soup when we go out to eat. I also added sesame oil, minced garlic, peas, corn, and small slices of chicken and pleased my daughter even more. She loves it when I bring the takeout recipes into our meal planning so that we can stay home when its cold but enjoy the comforts of homemade takeout food. Thanks!
