usually love Tyler's recipes, make lots of them and love them. He is such a incredible chef. This dish is "yuk"...sorry, I made exactly according to directions and didn't love the flavor mixture. Brussel sprouts were mushy, potatoes flavorless; just didn't get the whole mixture. Loved watching you make on the cooking channel and I did serve with pork chops, but was left "blah". So sorry. We will continue to watch and make your recipes that we love and are always delicious.

Served this dish last week with roast chicken and roasted vegetables -- my guests raved about the brussel sprouts -- they are wonderful! DSefinitely a keeper! Thanks Tyler.

We like brussel sprouts but this didn't work for us. Followed recipe but tasted bland.

I really thought I was one of those brussel sprout haters. Well, I know what you are going to say, "saute anything in bacon and it's great". I even make this without the bacon and we love it. Also, sometimes I don't add the potatoes or I'll also add green cabbage if I have some kicking around the fridge. Also, I never use the pearl onion - just some regular white or yellow onion. Thanks Tyler!

I have never liked brussel sprouts-thought they were bitter. I read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. I made for my parents and son-none of which like brussel sprouts and we couldn't stop eating it! Well my son not so much-he couldn't get past the thought of it being brussel sprouts so he suggested I use broccoli next time so I did tonight and he ate a huge helping of it. Served with Tyler's Chicken Cordon Bleu and Roasted Chicken Jus. Beautiful meal! I used shallots due to not being able to find red pearl onions and the store was out of fingerling potatoes so I used yukon gold and they do need to be cut small to get them to cook. The 2nd time I put them in eater and brought them to a boil and then drained them-didn't want them to get too cooked and become mushy but wanted them done quicker this time. Last time seemed to have to cook twice as long as it said to. I put the balsamic vinegar in the first time and thought it would ruin it-smelled so good cooking but it is great! Give this a try!

I saw this recipe with the balsamic vinegar and thought YUM. I really love balsamic vinegar. But I could not eat these. And there are very few things that I simply cannot eat. And yes I used a very good aged 18 yr balsamic that is so good I can almost drink it straight from the bottle. Not sure why I didn't like it with the sprouts but it's just me I suppose. My boyfriend said they were "ok".

I made this for Christmas Eve dinner and everyone raved. I'm not a huge brussel sprout fan, but these were SO good. I even picked the brussel sprouts out around the potatoes! The only thing I would suggest, is to slice the pearl onions. The recipe does not specify this, but keeping them whole was a little hard to eat. I think Tyler sliced them on the show too. Amazing recipe though! I can't wait to make them again.
