These are awesome!! I make these every time my parents or in-laws stay the night! They are so fluffy and moist! My mom and mother-in-law even asked for the recipe!

These came out to be exactly what I wanted. AND, a good way to use up extra buttermilk that I had bought for another recipe. I will definitely make these again for guests anytime. Thanks Tyler for another culinary delight!

I felt like a rock star when I made these for my sister and her family when they came to visit. I customized their pancakes to order with blueberries, bannanas or strawberries. It was a total hit! Will never buy ready mae pancake mix again, just keep buttermilk in the fridge!

That was the comment my husband made after eating these! I didn't add the banana's, I wasn't sure how my family would like them (although I thought it sounded good. They said they wanted to definitely try the banana's. We even talked about putting some cinnamon in them and topping them with apples come fall. I didn't make the maple butter...I used the pecan syrup recipe of Paula Deen's from Corries Granola Pancakes recipe. Together they were FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!! I also added brown sugar to the syrup recipe if you try it.

We made this recipe for our son's 12 year old birthday sleepover. It was a huge hit with all five boys. We made the pancakes as directed, but most of the boys opted out of the bananas. The only down side was that the boys ate all the pancakes and there were none left for mom and me!

Thank you Tyler! I'm eating my healthy version of the banana pecan pancakes right now, and these are easily the best pancakes I've ever had! To make it healthy I used whole wheat flour, and omitted the sugar altogether. For the syrup I made my own using a little butter, an all natural sugar substitute, maple flavoring, water and cornstarch.
The flavor in this pancake recipe is phenomenal. I was scared of what the texture of the bananas would be after they were cooked, but they are perfect. Creating the perfect moistness. This recipe will be my new special breakfast recipe!
